IT Project Manager Senior

job summary:
As a Senior Project Manager, You will be part of clients Information Technology Division, Business Technology Organization,Common Services (SFSCS) department of the Information Technology division at the clients site to help lead maintenance and support for SFSCS's 90+ applications, written in Appian BPM and Java/J2EE, with some on the mainframe and several being business critical. You will help ensure the resolution of production operational and technical issues impacting the 90+ applications in the SFSCS domain, along with managing the consistency, coordination, and planning of break-fixes to address incidents. This is a highly visible position and you will be leading incidents to conclusion, regularly reporting on status to several different stakeholder groups, and leading break fix projects to a successful, timely conclusions. This position's duties will include:

Communications to IT/Business Partners and Consumers

L3 Production Support

L3 Production Break-Fixes

High-priority Incident Management and directing others to closure

Adhoc Operational Requests

Vendor Management

Disaster Recovery Testing and Reporting

Sox Control Audit Tracking and Reporting

 
qualifications:
College Degree with advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically have 5+ years related experience and 3+ years management experience

Ability to manage and deliver break-fix projects across the SFSCS domain

Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

Experience with providing software L3 support and oversight for a large organization

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including regular deck preparation and presentation

Technically proficient enough to drive technical teams to quick, successful conclusions on high priority incidents

Ability to provide concise, timely reports to management regarding the status of high priority incidents

Flexibility and adaptability to changes in an environment

Ability to work on call nights and weekends to close out high priority incidents

Works well in teams and is comfortable both executing and directing others

Manage the coordination of activities within team and across teams as appropriate

Demonstrate ownership of problems, issues, or requests from start to finish

 
skills: Experience with operational/production support teams

Experience developing and presenting information to/at all management levels

Experience with SOX controls in a software support capacity

Disaster recovery planning and testing experience

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflict while maintaining relationships

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent technical and analytical skills. Mainframe experience is a plus.
