What Will You Do?

An intense and exciting growing global company, is looking for a contractor to join our creative team of engineers working to support our product engineering team by creating software and database tools to assist the analysis of device test data. Our team is hard-working, smart, goal-oriented, and creative. We are looking for a person who will participate in every level of setting up methods to efficiently capture and analyze test data. In this position you will interact with senior product engineers, local manufacturing engineers, database team, and quality data analysts to improve the data reporting process. You will be creating tools to ease the data analysis. You will bridge the gap between yield reporting systems and transceiver testing software.

Responsibilities

  • Work with PE engineers to set up new reports using Tableau
  • Learn the test methods used to understand how optical components are tested.
  • Compare the data and the time to current test methods of reporting
  • Document the procedure
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
  • Abilities in circuit design and software programming
  • Knowledge of fiber optics is a plus
  • Experience with programming language such as Visual Basic, C/C++, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Agile
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent hands-on, communication and team work skills
