Detailed job description:

- Initiate, plan, monitor / control, manage one or more medium to large Cyber Security technology project(s).

- Manage and motivate cross functional teams to implement the projects.

- Drive the process of project planning including scope definition, estimating, budgeting and project schedule development.

- Develops project approach, plans, schedules, budgets, identify project resource needs, plan team work assignments, direct project efforts, and monitor project from planning to close.

- Use the Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) project methodology.

- Plan and use the defined Risk Management methodology on all projects.

- Develop cost estimates using established estimating models.

- Manage project budget: develop the budget then prepare monthly forecasts and projections.

- Manage vendor procurement process.

- Execute project according to the plan to meet the defined scope, schedule and budget.

- Prepare and deliver project / business case presentations to Senior Management and project sponsors effectively.

- Use proficient presentation skills to communicate issues, project status to project sponsors and stakeholders.

- Monitor project execution, regularly update project plans and prepare status reports on a defined schedule.

- Manage risks and issues and escalate as needed.

- Work effectively with other project team resources: business analysts, team leads, test leads, subject matter experts, etc.

Job Specific Knowledge:

Expertise in the use of SDLC and project management knowledge: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects. Expertise in use of project management tools; development and management of project budgets, projections, change requests as well as managing and motivating project team members.

- Proficient presentation skills and reporting project status to executive leadership.

- Expertise in Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving, Project management related work experience, Risk Management, Issue Management and Leadership. Expertise in verbal and written communications.

- Expertise in managing complex IT and / or Cybersecurity technology projects.

- Ability to cope effectively under pressure.

 
qualifications:
Required Qualifications / Skills

- Education / Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, CIS, MIS, Business or other applicable field

Work Experience:

7+ years of prior equivalent work-related experience in IT, Cybersecurity or Information Security in addition to the degree.

 
skills: Preferred Qualifications

- Education / Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, CIS, MIS, Business or other applicable field

- Work Experience: 7+ years of prior equivalent work-related experience in IT, Cybersecurity or Information Security in addition to the degree.

- Experience managing Cybersecurity technology projects.

- Certifications: PMP
