Sr Business Planning Manager

The Chief Operations Office Business Planning team is looking for a dynamic, self-possessed professional with demonstrated expertise in writing compelling and engaging messages for internal and external audiences. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines, has a well-organized approach to managing and executing his/her work, and is adept at developing relationships will be successful in this role.

This individual will provide strategic business planning and support to the Chief Operations Office Executive Management team. The role will have great impact on the ability of the COO Planning team to meet established business targets. Responsibilities include project planning, execution and monitoring of key business initiatives, identifying and resolving complex business issues, developing essential business presentations for internal and external audiences.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Develop, manage, and improve governance and process surrounding internal business operations and management system

- Ability to capture stakeholder feedback and translate them into clear technical requirements for developers

- Translate highly technical concepts or strategic ideas and creating innovative and engaging ways to communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences

- The creation of clear, concise, informative visual representations of complex ideas

- Writing and editing internal and external materials using crisp, clear language relevant to the intended audience, including executive-level presentations

- Facilitate, coordinate and assist in workshops and meetings

- Act as a change agent when leading or supporting initiatives

- Lead cross-functional initiatives; manage work streams as necessary

- Develop business cases in support of operational excellence at Client

- Work independently with little supervision; make decisions about and prioritize own work

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred

- Minimum of 10 years general business experience in business planning, project management, product management, or business development roles

- Background in corporate strategy, strategic planning, and/or consulting

- Demonstrated accomplishments in contributing/leading at a strategic level in a complex, matrix environment

- Ability to operate with self-initiative and solve problems in dynamic situations within assigned tasks

- Capability to multi-task in a fast-passed environment while meeting critical deadlines

- Excellent leadership, influencing, and problem solving skills required

- Confidence and competent to interface with senior leadership. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Exceptional multi-tasking ability

- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite

- Proficient in processing and analyzing large amounts of data to support business planning efforts

- Ability to effectively prepare and deliver senior management level presentations and communications

- Individual must be able to lead multiple projects concurrently

- Ability to facilitate and add value to cross-functional teams without direct authority
