Sr. Technical Engineer
Randstad Technologies is looking for an outstanding full-stack software developer to help lead design and implementation of a client portal to satisfy our "Hardware as a Service" program.

salary: $59 - 60 per hour
work hours: 9am to 5pm
-You will be responsible for development, innovative design, hiring recommendations, security, SDLC and running of a number of application utilized globally by both internal and external clients.
-The application will consist of a back end data integration tool to gather usage metrics from remote instances, the user application for the clients (Dashboard) and management application for reference data. The application stack must be fault tolerant and implement a cutting edge monitoring and alerting for issues.
You will be working from start to finish on projects, and it will be essential to understand all aspects of each system, from both a business and technical point of view.
This means having a full working knowledge of technologies such as UNIX, SQL Server, No SQL Databases (eg Elastic), Rest API's, Micro Services, VPN, Monitoring solutions (such as Prometheus) and SDLC best practice for example, as well as working knowledge of multiple programming languages, including Java & Python.
Time will be spent dealing with people globally, from management to developers, to ensure the project meets its true needs while maintain a commercially awareness focus.
Some of the main tasks you can expect to be involved in:
-Hands-on new development and enhancements to existing applications and processes. -Bringing externally developed & supported solutions in house.
-Identifying the organization's needs and using this to generate ideas with team members to offer insightful solutions
-Data Modelling Logical & Physical
-Ensuring the solution is fit for purpose from a security standpoint.
-Helping build and foster a team of high performing engineers.
