You will be a part of a remote, small, laser focused cyber security initiative utilizing the latest technologies to provide automation, data analysis, web dashboards and more to help Client mitigate malicious

attackers infiltrating assets.

This environment requires someone who can think abstractly about data and automation, all while considering the scale of Client's technology infrastructure.

The work you'll be doing will provide exposure to a diverse technology portfolio and hard problems. You'll be able to provide input on design decisions and help steer the direction of solutions as development

continues should that be of interest. However, if popping headphones on and coding for hours on end is more your style, that will work just as well.

You can expect clear direction, solid roadmaps and friendly people working with you on challenging problems.

Duties:

- Create web applications both for on-premises and cloud based environments.

- Create web apis utilizing REST, backend databases like SQL, CosmosDB or custom interfaces.

- Create automation utilizing the latest cloud technologies such as Event Hubs, NoSQL/blob data stores and azure functions (server-less apps).

Skills required:

- Demonstrates a working background in .net framework (c#, asp.net mvc, etc)

- Azure development background (arm templates, power shell, keyvault, event hubs etc), equivalent experience in a competing cloud platform will be considered uniquely.

- Understand and be able to implement secure development practices (no secrets in code repo, use secure protocols, certificate backed environments etc)

- Git (know the basics of pull requests, branching, rebasing etc)

- Understand and participate in the code review process

- Basic understanding of SQL, NoSQL

- Creating appropriate schemas around simple data tasks is sufficient

- 2-3 years' experience

- Basic office (word, excel, powerpoint) efficiency a must

Skills preferred:

- .Net Core 2.* framework experience

- Linux familiarity (services, package management, light administration)

- Js, css and html5 web development a plus

- JSON, xml and other various formats of data structures (manipulations, extrapolations, transformations)

- Basic understanding of Graph, Elk stack a plus
