Data Engineer II
Responsibilities Supporting and maintaining Intuit's data lake and associated systems
Participating in the infrastructure development process and building re-usable infrastructure software following a standard secure software development lifecycle
Writing technical documentation on supported applications & operational tools
Implementing monitoring solutions that go beyond simple alerting but glean meaningful insight into the state of the production environment and support self-healing
Incident management reports, including initial problem analysis, management status, resolution, and follow up defect reporting

salary: $80 - 85 per hour
work hours: 9am to 5pm
Participation in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and process improvement processes
Facilitate the creation of the Operational readiness documents
Perform hygiene activities for datacenter infrastructure
Provide oncall support for our Production systems (optional) Metrics reporting on applications performance, availability, reliability, etc.
equirements Experience operating large scale data systems:
Hadoop clusters running Cloudera distribution Operational mindset with ability handle Production incidents
skills: Troubleshoot issues and participate in 12x7 on-call support, ensuring the stability of the production environment.
Plus AWS operational experience (EMR)
