Reporting and Compliance Analyst

job summary:
Resource will work in the Integrated Portfolio Management Office (iPMO) team to develop and carry out business strategies to help the organization better deliver engagements. This individual will be working in a collaborative team environment where their primary tasks will include the development and implementation of new tools within the Google application set, as well as the development of, corresponding processes and procedures. Resource must be able to manage a portfolio of projects, prioritize individual and team tasks, coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities: The Report and Compliance Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:

-Support the design, creation, testing, implementation, training and maintain compliance and governance tools to:

--Help project teams deliver engagements

--Provide accountability to internal and external management

--Disseminate information to other key departments

-Support the development/maintenance of weekly status reports and dashboards

-Working with Technology Information and Support Services to support the facilitate/implement iPMO initiatives

-Support the recurring and/or ad hoc governance and compliance activities throughout the engagement's full lifecycle

-Suggest, implement, and enforce improvements to new and current practices and processes

-Support iPMO's involvement with Continual Service Improvement projects

-Represent the iPMO as the central knowledge point for policies, procedures, and tools

-Support the facilitation of other back office administrative tasks

Required Skills & Capabilites:

-Holds a degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems or equivalent from an accredited school; or, 2-5 years experience in related field

-Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications; -Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets specifically

-Design efficient spreadsheet solutions using scripting and formulas

-Able to implement database type functionality using Google Sheets

-Able to triage/troubleshoot and fix issues encountered with deployed Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets tool

-Ability to design/create analytical dashboards and reports for all levels of management within our Solutions team.

-Working knowledge of Sofware Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Excellent presentation

skills: Preferred Skills & Capabilities:

-Advanced proficiency with at least one scripting or programming language

-Perform enhanced scripting within the Google toolset

-Programming to a relational database backend

-Knowledge of/ experience with IT frameworks, including at least one of the following: CMMI, COBIT, ITIL, Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma/Lean), ISO 2700x, TOGAF, project management life cycles, systems development life cycles, PMBOK
