Responsible for end-to-end trouble isolation and repair for customers of Wholesale VoIP and Advanced IP Toll Free Routing (ATF), IPCC, FiOS Digital Voice, Wireless, Conferencing, International IDDD, and International Toll Free, as well as other Repair Center products.
Issues to troubleshoot include but not limited to, poor call quality, call completion failures, call routing, feature interoperability and connectivity issues across CPE, Sonus SCIP, VoIP Public, Private, International and PSTN networks.
Familiarity with IP SEC Tunnel and NNI IP network connections desired.

Strong technical background in the TDM and VoIP voice and data technologies associated with Verizon services, including strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree or 2 or more years of relevant experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent decision making and analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment are required.

Ideally you will also have:
Preferred areas of configuration and troubleshooting technical proficiency include: OSI model layer 1-7 troubleshooting, SIP, SS7, IP routing protocols, ISDN, Frame Relay/MPLS/ATM, Local and LD voice switch/network including DS-0, DS-1, and DS-3 Bandwidth circuits.
Functional knowledge of specialized diagnostic tools (packet capture/protocol analysis devices), SIP protocol, firewalls, session border controllers and PSTN call flow/routing features is strongly desired.
Cisco, Adtran, Genband, and/or Sonus certifications are desired.
The ability to speak multiple Languages desired.
All candidates must be able to work any shift, holidays, weekends and on-call rotations in a network operations center environment.
