  • Provide real time metrology support to Calibration Lab and Receiving Inspection Work with calibration technicians and quality inspectors on standardizing test equipment and associated calibration procedures
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects using DMAIC and ACE methodologies with the goal of reducing turn-around-time, increasing productivity and streamlining calibration services in general
  • Support development of new calibration procedures and test equipment as part of NPI process
  • Coordinate calibration visits and on-site training with external service providers
  • Establish and communicate best practices in calibration and receiving inspection
  • Coordinate periodic skill training and skill advancement for all calibration personnel
  • Analyze and makes recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products and processes.
  • Assist with containment activities when needed
  • Evaluates external calibration providers for quality of service and ISO standard compliance
  • Streamline Calibration Lab's operation and data collection system
Other Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Establish Statistical Process Control (SPC) where possible
  • Comply with and demonstrate adherence to all policies, procedures, regulations, & any required training involving Ethics, Continuous Improvement (ACE) and Quality
  • Assist with internal and external audits when necessary
  • Manages quality and productivity related projects
  • Actively works on improving efficiency and calibration turn-around-time
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree
  • Minimum of 3 years' of experience in quality, test engineering or metrology
Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, test engineering or metrology
  • Master degree in Engineering or Business
  • Extensive knowledge of DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies
  • ASQ Certification
  • SAP experience
