Java Web Developer

The Balance Sheet Capital Management Technology team is seeking a Java Developer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of professional development experience using an object oriented language similar to Java with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Java.

salary: $55 - 65 per hour
work hours: 9am to 5pm
education: Bachelors
develop code using Angular UI version 6, Oracle database

Must have/required

Proficient in Java & other OO (C++, C#) programming languages.

Proficient in Angular 4-6 JS/JQuery/Bootstrap/SpringBoot/Rest services and other related javascript libraries.

In depth knowledge of object oriented design and patterns.

1-2 years of Unix shell scripting development experience.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational database skills along with SQL.

Be able to work with a team of like-minded high-caliber developers.

Ability to communicate clearly.

Strong problem solving skills.

skills: Nice to Have:

Strong math and analytical skills.

Exposure to BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory are a plus.

Prior experience working in Python/Quartz Platform will be a plus.

Exposure to General Ledger, Securities, Credit Derivatives, & Counterparty Risk systems is plus.
