KEY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

- 40% - Lead and manage projects as assigned, both tactical and strategic

- 40% - Deliver high quality artifacts and outcome through all phases of PMLC including Envision, Design, Build, and Activate as needed to realize measurable business results

- 10% - Coach, guide, train project team members and other PMs on EDBA, PMLC and related artifacts and deliverables

- 10% - Assist team members and research operational and performance data to provide statistics, trends, and reporting that inform leadership steering and decision-making, and as assigned

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

- Undergraduate degree in business, technical, or aviation related discipline required

- Advanced degree preferred

- Project Management (PMI) Certification (Preferred)

- Lean Six Sigma certification

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

- Experience managing multiple large, complex projects across multiple functions

- Experience managing and mentoring project management staff

- Proven expertise successfully managing business and technical resources under an integrated project plan to ensure the alignment of resources

- Experience presenting, escalating, and providing solutions to senior leadership

- Manager is in need of 3 resources that will be assigned to different projects:

- 1. Content Management System

o Successful candidate should have Content Management experience. Supply chain will come in handy, but warehouse management will not be necessary for this one.

o Will drive creation of new Content Management System.

o Currently in final stages of RFP.

o Will project manage the design and build of what the CMS looks like with vendor teams.

o Will partner with a FTE already on the project - project is large enough to have multiple work streams to manage - and stay aligned with them and the Hiring Manager to drive plans forward.

- 2. Warehouse Management System

o Warehouse Management experience is critical.

o Will see the project through from Envision all the way to Activation.

- 2. Warehouse Management System

o Warehouse Management experience is critical.

o Will see the project through from Envision all the way to Activation.

o Will drive project and rollouts to stations across the US.

o Might require some travel; however, there is a FTE serving as the OPM who will primarily do so.

- 3. Supply Chain or Procurement

o Will be in the Procurement or Supply Chain Excellence space.

o Role will be defined based on successful candidate's skill set.

o Will project manage alongside a FTE.

o Will manage individual work streams.

- For all 3, they MUST have experience managing large, complex projects. (This is key!) These projects are at least $20M, and the manager realistically doesn't want to phone screen candidates that haven't lead $1-1.5M projects.

- Must have excellent communication skills to correspond with stakeholders as well as the project team.

- Minimal to no travel required, depending on which project they will be assigned to.
