Job Summary:

The Business Analyst of HR and Finance will be responsible for performing IT service management processes, fostering and maintaining ongoing customer relationships, configuring systems, writing specifications for new development and system improvements, and performing and coordinating quality assurance testing.

Essential Duties:

  • Analyze business processes and recommend options for improvements or defect resolution; perform process and data modeling, business rule definition/analysis, and case definition, resulting in documented process documentation and functional specifications
  • Organize user acceptance testing with end users and perform testing on system changes before release to the field; perform post-installment production verification and knowledge transfer for customers
  • Handle projects for system implementations/upgrades and continued support; organize work and prioritize activities to achieve maximum benefit
  • Perform IT account management for internal Supply Chain users and external clients according to XPO customer management process (e.g., action item list, progress report, complaint management)
  • Provide ongoing support for the application suite including level 2 incident resolution, training power users, maintenance or system configuration and interface documentation, and solutions consulting
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience with medium-to-large scale systems supporting various enterprise systems, such as human resources, time and attendance, finance, quality management, safety, learning, and development including systems integration
  • Experience managing medium-sized information technology projects
  • Experience with current information technologies, systems, and tools such as Microsoft Office, service management support (Remedy, Service Now), project management (Microsoft Project), systems monitoring (Solarwinds), application lifecycle management (Rally), collaboration tools (SharePoint, GoToMeeting, Skype), and SQL for data analysis
  • Knowledge of formal systems development methodologies
  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time
skills: Great to have:

  • Master's degree
  • Knowledge of and/or certifications in IT Service Management (ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000), project management, and Sarbanes Oxley and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Experience collaborating with teams in different geographies and cultures
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly-changing environment
