The Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer will provide operational and technical engineering and lead implementation, testing, integration, interoperability, and sustainment of information technologies comprising Enterprise capabilities.

Day to day activities include owning and managing complex Microsoft related projects, providing deep technical insight and guidance. Acting as the SME for Microsoft`s Productivity and Directory products.

o 30% Work with the EUC team members and EUC Service Providers to maximize the value generated out of the Microsoft products uses. This includes items like Solution Design for any new projects / upgrades, leading of implementation and upgrade projects from design to go-live.

o 20% Project manage entire projects following the PPM methodology.

o 10% Imperative is the supportability of any new or updated products with existing staffing or support-contracts to ensure a smooth hand-over from deployment to operation in the most cost effective manner.

o 30% The role also is the SME / Advisory contact around the Microsoft products in scope of this Engineer, for the IT teams and our Service Providers providing guidance on system configuration and implementation. Furthermore, the role includes hands-on configuration changes to systems currently in place, in the purpose stabilizing and advancing existing systems. This includes level 3 support for any the supported products.

o 5% For Microsoft products in use, this role owner will provide roadmaps that allow Novelis to operate secure and in the most effective manner. This will also include schedules for patching, upcoming upgrades.

o 5% Managing the End User Computing portion of the contractual Enterprise Agreement between and Microsoft. This includes making best use of the licenses and products is entitled to and to re-negotiate the ideal setup for in the future.
