Business Solutions Analyst

job summary:
We are looking for a Business Solutions Analyst to support business readiness and continuously improve IT tools and processes that support our associates throughout the enterprise.

We need someone that has Organizational Change Management experience. Experience in deploying Office 365 (non-technical) is also highly desired.

You will support the deployment of new or upgraded technology using business readiness and organizational change management techniques to participate in the design and execution of rollout plans to deploy technology, maximizing adoption and minimizing user impact.

Individuals in the Business Analysis role are responsible for serving as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization. They collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements, and support user testing to achieve business goals. Business Analysts continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, deepen client relationships, and effectively manage customer expectations.

The successful applicant will have some combination (or all) of the following:

- Proven experience supporting business readiness.

- Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience, including experience with user adoption strategies and techniques is preferred.

- Experience defining the "associate technology experience", including user requirements, user adoption, feedback mechanisms such as surveys and focus groups, and user acceptance testing.

- Experience in the continuous improvement and management of services in the associate lifecycle including endpoint experience, collaboration and conferencing, connected workforce, mobility, IT service and support

- Functional experience with the Office 365 suite preferred.

- Exceptionally strong communication skills, particularly written communications and persuasive communications.

- Ability to work with multiple teams and multiple priorities. Ability to work with associates at all levels of the organization.

- Familiarity with ServiceNow is preferred.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Establishes and maintains liaison relationship with business partners and IT organization in order to provide effective technical solutions.

- Provides input from a business and IT perspective.

- Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advices on options.

- May develop user test cases and system integration testing and validates test results during testing.

- May review and approve test plans, in particular User Acceptance Testing and monitors testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal risk.

- Investigates problems and develops recommendations for resolution.

- Keeps customers informed of problems, issues, and resolutions.

- Analyzes performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Manages customers' expectations.

- Ensures IT solutions are aligned with customers' needs.

- May discuss work progress and obstacles.

- Provides advice, guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback.

- Ensures work, information, ideas, and technology flow freely across teams.

- Generate appropriate communication, process and educational plans for mitigating the disruption of change.

- Identify and remove obstacles to change.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

Typically requires 5-7 years of relevant technical or business work experience.

Requires experience/in-depth knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes.

Working knowledge of IIBA principles and practices

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 5 years relevant technical or business work experience.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team / group setting.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
