Full Stack Developer

job summary:
Our client is looking for a Full Stack Engineer in Sacramento, CA. This will be a permanent position on a growing team.

Must have experience in all stages of software development.

You'll be working alongside other engineers and designers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our software platform

Responsibilities

- Design overall architecture of the software application.

- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of application modules.

- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features and reskin older versions.

- Maintain code integrity and organization.

- Partner with UX and UI designers to convert designs to visual elements.

- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.

- Deep experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

- Design and implementation of data storage solutions. Experience with database creation, integration, and management such as Aurora / MySQL, RedShift, DynamoDB and MongoDB.

- Own the design, implementation, performance (scaling) of our APIs. Must understand the different delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform. Deep functional knowledge and hands on design experience with JSON-based RESTful web services.

- Strong understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as AngularJS (our site is written in Angular 2.0), JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Highly experienced with back-end programming languages such as React, Django, PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript

- Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
