Senior Systems Administrator

job summary:
Essentials job responsibilities in? clude, but are not limited to:

  • ?
  • Designs, builds and migrates solutions to the cloud%2? 0across the organization working with various teams. Responsible? for Automation, Virtual networking/security and access in A? WS Cloud Services.
  • Leads problem and inci? dent resolution facilitating calls with vendors to file bug re? ports and resolves technical issues. Drives innovations and ef? ficiency through scripting and automation methods.

  • Monitors all system alerts and assists to resolve comp? lex issues in system hardware and software. Leverages and im? plements automated approaches for systems administration tasks and? identifies approaches that leverage our resources and provides%?20economies of scale.
  • Reviews and tests s? oftware for accuracy and consistency with documentation, identif? ying problems and revising documentation and works with vendors%?20and internal customers to deploy and maintain business applica? tions.
  • Serves as an escalation point for%?20issues arising from the Help Desk, communicates outages and%?20maintenance schedules to users, and performs on-call duty ? for non-business hours support.

  • Experience maintaining current messaging%?20systems to include maintenance of current email and applicatio? n systems in Google Apps necessary. Knowledge of engineering%2? 0and administration of Linux systems required.
