Job Description:

The Vendor Management Office (VMO) IT Managed Services Specialist will be responsible for various vendor management lifecycle activities to enable to acquire IT Managed Services. Those will include for example: vendor selection, negotiation, service delivery, vendor performance monitoring and governance, and contract reviews. The VMO IT Managed Services Specialist will engage directly in all major vendor selections and contracts negotiations for IT Managed Services across multiple IT functional organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT vendor lifecycle activities for acquisition of IT Managed Services
  • Lead a team of IT vendor contractors' resources.
  • Lead contracting and business awards for core IT Managed Services contracts
  • Implement and ensure compliance for the core IT Manages services vendors of best in class standards and processes in the areas of Contract Management, Compliance and Risk Management, Performance and Operations Management as well as Financial Management.
  • Ensure that receives the contracted value from our 3rd parties, 3rd parties operate consistent with Laws and Regulations and that 3rd parties operate consistent with Standards and Policies.
  • Ensure vendor partner relationships are in place, through core metrics, incentives, penalties and feedback mechanisms
  • Negotiate IT Service Level Agreements that focus on customer service and expense management
  • Conduct a formalized, regularly scheduled contract performance compliance review covering SLA/KPI results, Customer Satisfaction results, escalated concerns and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for major service outages.
  • Provide oversight of Vendor Audits and implement IT vendors Governance controls.
  • Ensure has the right participation to Customer Advisory Board and on-going executive engagement - including technology roadmap and co-innovation with the core IT Managed Services vendors
  • Act as liaison between Finance/Procurement/Audit teams and vendor partners to resolve any day to day issues.
  • Establish tracking system for Vendor spend (including number of vendors), and analytics for continuous improvements.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in IT related fields or Finance.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in an IT Vendor Management team.
  • 10-15 years' experience with direct contract negotiations for IT Managed Services vendors. Managed 2-3 major contracts (3-5 years deals).
  • 5 years' experience in defining and managing SLA/KPIs/ penalties and incentives.
  • Must have extensive experience communicating with IT vendor teams' deal teams and executive representatives.
  • Experience as relationship manager with IT Managed Services Vendor.
  • Legal experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational, conflict resolution and time management skills.
