The breadth of responsibilities includes helping to design, test, and deploy new IT services, efficiently maintaining existing IT infrastructure, and working to pro-actively manage risk. The System and Network Administrator's primary duties include supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux systems, network routing and switching infrastructure, email systems, web servers, database servers, file servers, and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities also include working with employees to solve technical problems, working with teammates to trouble-shoot and fix technical issues, and consulting with business users to help them achieve their goals more efficiently.
The role requires the ability to work with technical employees, consulting teams, labs personnel, and management team to assure the success of the team.

? Troubleshooting of IT related problems
? Design, review and deploy new systems

? Minimum of three years' experience in managing, supporting, maintaining, and trouble-shooting IT systems and networks
? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, etc.)
? Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian, Cent OS, Red Hat, etc)
? Strong knowledge of networking and TCP/IP fundamentals
? Strong knowledge of VMWare ESXi
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
? Working knowledge of enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls
? Working knowledge of Cisco UCS platform
? Working knowledge of Openstack or underlying technologies (KVM, Ceph, Cinder, etc)
? Working knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CI/CD pipelines)
? Strong command of the English language, both oral and written.
Certifications (preferred, but not required)
? Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
? Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
? Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)
? A Bachelor's degree with technology focus
