Information Security Administrator

job summary:
General Overview of Responsibilities for Security Administrator:

This is a both a technical and security administration role whose responsibility will be to configure, administer and provision Salesforce Shield and similar applications. This includes managing user access control privileges and terminating user privileges. The position reports into Information Security and works cross the business lines to ensure cloud applications such as Salesforce workflows match and meet business requirements. The candidate must be self-driven and have the ability to translate business requirements and technical specifications into a functioning solution where proper authentication and user roles are applied for deployment. Additionally, the candidate must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in building reports, understanding dashboards, workflows, profiles, page layouts, and permission sets. Candidate will be responsible for providing recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve system performance, operational efficiency, internal business process, and reporting. This individual must be committed to solving problems, providing assistance to the user base, and it is essential that they have a diligent work ethic. The ability to collaborate with others as a team player is a must.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage users, profiles, roles and permission sets in Salesforce and similar cloud applications

Generate reports and responds to audit requests

Participate in disaster recovery tests

Troubleshoot, resolve and track end-user account issues

Assist in data import/export/updates and system customizations

Provide day-to-day end user support and assist users with security best practices to improve and increase knowledge

Stay current on applications new features and functionality to ensure compatibility with existing development

Participate in the creation of security administration policies, procedures and standards

Monitor for user account security issues

Additional Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Systems and Applications Access Control Security Administration.

An excellent communicator and collaborator

Detail-oriented, clerical work includes maintaining records of accounts

Strong analytical skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Keen ability to multi-task; self-starter

Capable planner

Education:

Associates degree or 6-year work related experience; either a professional security certification or similar technical security technical certification required.
