responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to our customers and VARs (value-add resellers).
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices.
  • Plan, Design and Implement multi-vendor Date Center Solutions for medium to large Enterprise, Commercial and Service Provider customers.
  • Own the technical relationship with customers, including solution demos, proof-of-concept work, production deployments and knowledge transfer.
  • Work directly with customers to create solutions and use cases that generate business value.
  • Lead projects and internal initiatives to develop Intellectual Capital, Training material and Client-specific documentation.
  • Develop individual skill set and expand product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our clients. This includes attaining designated certification requirements and attending product-specific training, reviewing technical literature, and obtaining hands-on experience.
  • Attend internal meetings and conferences calls as required.
  • Travel to Client sites, industry conferences, and other related events as required.
 
qualifications:
Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in the tech industry with experience in pre-sales, customer-facing consulting or other relevant technical experience.
  • Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Experience architecting and developing large infrastructure and network solutions for Enterprise and Service Provider customers.
  • Desired Skills:

    • Experience with networking concepts including Software Defined Networking (SDN), VPNs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
    • Cisco Unified Computing System, Unified Fabric, ACI, Converged Infrastructure.
    • VMware NSX, vCenter, vSphere.
    • Data Center Networking, Container Networking, Dockers, Kubernetes.
    • Cloud computing and cloud architecture experience preferred - IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Public/Hybrid Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
    • Virtualization (Hypervisors - VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper V, KVM, others), X86 Architecture, Operating Systems (Windows, Red Hat Linux).
    • Routing Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, RIP.
    • Multicast PIM - DM, SM, SSM, IGMP.
    • L3VPNs, MPLS VPNs.
    • Software - IOS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE, NxOS, CatOS, JunOS
    • Cisco ASR9K, ISR and Juniper Core Routers.
    • Cisco Nexus 2K, 5K, 7K, 9K, and Catalyst series.
Other:

  • Up to 40% travel may be required within United States, Canada and internationally.
  • Flexibility with work hours.
  • Preferred Location: Austin, TX or Dallas / Fort-Worth, TX.
