Solution Subject Matter Expert (SME) - SAP

As an Solution SME for Company, you'll work to configure our SAP system to meet US specific requirements. This is an exciting opportunity, where you'll be a Subject Matter Expert by providing guidance and support through SAP upgrades or changes to the SAP environment, as well as being the point of contact for any questions.

Key Accountabilities

-Providing Subject Matter Expertise of best practices in use of SAP for Warehouse and Inventory Management

-Analysing and translating business requirements into alternative functional solutions, utilising best practice and within the remit of the enterprise architecture

-Designing, building and testing SAP solutions in accordance with existing programme templates

-Managing and owning functional changes in accordance with the agreed change control and governance processes

-Conversing with technical and non-technical audiences

-Providing a level of operational support to users including training and remediation

-Providing guidance and support for major implementations through to BAU activities

-Providing guidance and consultancy to business users and other functional consultants

Basic:

-A Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience with SAP and covering all phases of a project lifecycle OR;

-A Master's degree with 4+ years of experience with SAP and covering all phases of a project lifecycle OR;

-A PhD with 0+ years of experience with SAP and covering all phases of a project lifecycle

-In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen or a Perm Resident/Green Card Holder

Preferred:

-SAP certified in Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and/or Quality Management with 10+ years of experience

-Strong business process and operating model knowledge to include inbound, outbound and internal warehouse management processes, 3PL provider integration and non-conformance management

-Integration experience across a broader set of SAP modules to include FI/CO, SD, PP, MM and third party systems

-Experience with Waterfall, Agile and/or SAFe methodologies

-Experience managing both vendors and external configuration partners
