Contractor - ESG Product Marketing

You are passionate about marketing, ESG trends, innovation and new thinking. Communication channels may include print and digital media, interactive experiences and video/audio scripts. As part of a global organization, you will collaborate with colleagues across EMEA and APAC to ensure alignment on strategy, positioning and content.

- This position is based in Boston. Some domestic travel may be required.

responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

This is an opportunity for a well-rounded and highly collaborative marketing professional with existing insights into ESG and experience developing and leading integrated marketing campaigns. You will deliver ESG marketing programs to drive awareness, engagement and consideration of Client SPDR ETFs. You will bring organizational skills, a professional sense of urgency and a profound respect for the interests and needs of our clients. You will lead and execute on marketing tactics in alignment with business objectives, client concerns and sales goals

This role will include the following responsibilities:

- Drive Client SPDR ETF marketing strategy for ESG investing

- Execute on scalable, repeatable and packaged marketing programs to drive awareness, engagement and consideration of SPDR ETFs

- Work with Sales and Channel Marketing to understand and address client needs

- Work closely with an array of marketing disciplines - digital, social, content, direct marketing, channel, measurement, advertising, events, etc. - to building integrated marketing plans around ESG investing

- Work with the content team to plan the ongoing roadmap of marketing assets including key research initiatives

- Manage the ESG marketing budget against marketing plan

- Partner with PR team to build assets for earned media - brief PR, outline success and allow time for delivery

- Drive the client experience and optimize whenever necessary based on measurement results

 
qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years of relevant marketing or communications experience

- Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, measure and optimize marketing campaigns that deliver results

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong project management and interpersonal skills are paramount to the success of this role

- Ability to collaborate across varying business areas and geographies

- Ability to juggle, prioritize and balance competing goals, projects and personalities

- Understanding of the financial services marketplace including regulatory and legislative landscape

 
skills: Top 3 must-haves:

Experience developing and leading integrated marketing programs (particularly with financial services), strong interpersonal skills and a team first mentality, ability juggle competing priorities and adapt on the fly.

Software Must Haves: Microsoft suite, Salesforce a plus

Role is within a product marketing team that works closely with other marketing disciplines and business areas (Product, Sales, Strategy and Research).Team members have asset class and/or campaign assignments like sectors, gold, fixed income, etc.

Individual would need to present marketing plans, creative briefs and lead integrated campaign meetings

Interview process is phone and then in person panel interview..

Day to day: This person will be expected to work and collaborate across marketing disciplines (direct marketing, content, social, PR, web, paid search, advertising, measurement, etc.) and the broader SPDR ETF and the business to create a marketing strategy to drive awareness, consideration and purchase of our ESG products.
