job summary:
Technical Product Manager

  • Own our securities litigation monitoring and recovery platform

    • Feel a sense of personal accountability for the availability, accessibility, and functionality of the platform
    • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert for the platform - think big, set direction and priorities, drive definitions, deliver results, grow customer adoption, and ensure we exceed clients' expectations
    • Set the direction for the future of the platform and determine how best to evolve it to meet corporate and client needs
  • Evangelize projects to end users and to our internal engineering team

    • Market the platform internally to ensure stakeholders understand its features and its value proposition
    • Maintain product vision and roadmap, keeping stakeholders up to date on high level goals and timelines
    • Drive business process reengineering by working with users to drive how they do their job - identifying pain points, developing solutions, pushing adoption of new features and use cases, and continually expanding our offering
    • With end users, identify process improvements that could be made through automation or process redesign
  • Bridge the gap between product marketing and engineering

    • Work with stakeholders and partners to understand client pain points, internal business drivers, and technical gaps to develop a platform that enhances our ability to exceed clients' expectations
    • Based on market requirements and consistent with business objectives, prioritize features, weighing business value and impact against risks and development costs
    • Shape high level concepts in order to understand size and scope of projects, ensuring scope aligns with long-term product plans and solutions are purpose-built and properly designed
Our ideal candidate is:

  • An experienced business analyst or product owner who is comfortable owning responsibility for products or product modules in a SaaS company (a background in financial services would be a plus!);
  • Comfortable engaging with clients to understand their current business processes, innovate solutions, and create efficiencies;
  • Able to interact cross-functionally and across organizational levels - you are as comfortable with executives as you are with end users (and their internal representatives);
  • Familiar with our tools: We are data-heavy (Oracle, SQL) and work in an agile environment, using Atlassian tools, so comfort with SQL and JIRA would shorten the learning curve, and familiarity with MongoDB would be a plus;
  • Self-directed and detail oriented, a "deep digger" with strong analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking skills;
  • Highly collaborative, prioritizing collaboration over credit, and interested in building strong relationships with peers across corporate functions;
  • A planner, identifying and analyzing problems, proposing solutions, and anticipating future problem areas before initiating action;
  • Intellectually curious, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous growth; and
  • Of course, looking to join a growing company with a vibrant, entrepreneurial culture, dedicated to being the top provider in the class action recovery space.
