Programmatic Sales Specialist (Vertical Leader)

job summary:
As our client builds upon its success as a leader in programmatic and audience solutions, it is looking for a Vertical Lead to help grow programmatic revenue within the xxxxxx category. This individual will leverage clients collective scale, first party data, trusted environments and various programmatic ad products to help customers build programmatic solutions that deliver results.

This person will be the poster child for collaboration and be charged with building a well-oiled strategy to achieve 2 core objectives:

  • Support the existing sales organization find incremental growth with established customers by thoughtfully up-selling new programmatic products.
  • Drive the adoption of clients premium programmatic products with new customers regionally
Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the programmatic and audience solutions SME to both clients and the internal sales organization
  • Collaborates with the existing sales team to build solutions that achieve clients needs by effectively moves them up the programmatic value chain from open to PG/direct.
  • Works to ensure the proper go-to-market strategy is executed across core endemic and strategic growth accounts within a specified vertical
  • Drives best practices and facilitates knowledge sharing/collaboration across client's sales teams
  • Services, manages and builds senior programmatic agency and brand relationships, in partnership with BU specific sales teams.
  • Works with operations to harvest insights that will create value and help grow relationships with programmatic advertisers.
  • Prospects a named book of identified new customer accounts
  • Serve as the internal programmatic champion for the vertical and "voice of the customer" by sharing market feedback with the product teams.
Qualification:

  • 6+ years in sales / account management experience; 4+ years in digital/programmatic sales
  • Experience working within both a premium publisher and adtech/data provider preferred
  • Established relationships with programmatic buyers at trading desks, holding companies and brands within the vertical
  • Demonstrated success selling programmatic solutions with a solid understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem and how buyers plan and buy programmatic campaigns.
  • Team mentality required. Must be able to demonstrate your ability to sell collaboratively and thrive within a large matrix organization
  • Must be a strong negotiator with consultative and persuasive presentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required
