9+ month contract opportunity to work onsite in Dallas. Some potential to convert to perm employment with the end customer down the road.

Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development and support of our Salesforce Sales Cloud (NPSP) deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption within the system. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes including: Fundraising, Marketing, Outreach and our core program business processes. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the platform in strong partnership with enterprise business technology teams such as digital marketing, architecture and data integration teams.


  • Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with up to 300 users
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Support governance of and control changes to the Salesforce related data model to ensure that all changes are properly managed and communicated. Work with integration teams to keep data quality and reliability high.
  • Monitor and maintain the Marketing Cloud Connector
  • Work within the overall department processes for the evaluation, scoping, and completion of new development requests.
  • Assesses the impact of new functionality and data requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
  • Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development team
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

 
qualifications:
Required Skills:

  • 5+ years IT experience
  • 4+ years Salesforce.com (SFDC) administration experience
  • Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
  • Designed and implemented new processes and facilitated user adoption.
  • Experience in building custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Connectors
  • Data management within Salesforce.com and integrated systems
  • Experience with nonprofit processes preferred
  • Previous work experience in an agile environment either using Kanban or Scrum
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and on all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
Preferred Skills:

  • Local to Dallas area
  • Experience with Cloud Modules (Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
  • Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • Proficient with tools like VS Code, migration tools, workbench and Data loader
  • Experience with SFDC Nonprofit Process
  • Experience with MS Dynamics CRM
  • Able to work in US without sponsorship
  • Proficient with Apex, Triggers, VisualForce, and/or Lightning
