Program Manager - Business Process & Platform Transformation

job summary:
Our client is embarking upon an exciting multi-year Transformation. This will be a process-led, global program, which will include the implementation of Business Process Management (BPM) and a cloud ERP Platform. This transformation will significantly enhance our company's Organic and Inorganic growth strategy.

This role reports to the Director - EPMO and will be taking direction from the overall Program Director of the Transformation Program. This role will full accountability in delivering the sub tracks within the overall Transformation Program. Your highly-energetic and action-oriented style will help facilitate and drive transformative change in our fast-paced environment. The Program Manager directs the activities of the specific program tracks through a matrix of project managers and functional stakeholders. This position has overall responsibility for driving the detailed program plans, managing interdependencies providing input into the budget, driving adherence to the project execution methodology, and identifying and mitigating risks/issues. This position also exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

responsibilities:
Your Leadership Partners

You will work directly with the Program Leadership (Overall Program Director; Business & Technical Program Owners; Change Management Lead; Global Process Owners and Key SMEs from the Business and Technology). You will collaborate with our System Integrator Partner teams and ERP Product teams

How You'll Be Successful

  • Leadership

    • Change Agent with the ability to understand and navigate the organizational culture and drive the transformation.
    • Work with key Business and Technology stakeholders to drive the execution of the program plan
    • Provide program oversight to the ERP process tracks. This includes budget, scope, schedule, Quality, and resources (System Integrator and Oracle)
o Partner with key business contacts to identify and define how to improve business process performance through technology to ensure quality and predictability of requested deliverables to the business.

  • Program Execution

    • Lead and/or work within a PMO environment to monitor ongoing status of each initiative to ensure progress is aligned with the project plans.
    • Champion and integrate initiatives into effective and seamless development life cycle with alignment to the project management process and the PMO.
    • Lead with a process-centric perspective, appreciation for change management, and a keen sense of how process transformation is enabled through an ERP.
    • Assist in overseeing on-shore and off-shore development activities as applicable.
  • Program Leadership

    • Identify risk and issue trends early and work with Business leaders on incorporating and mitigating them into the program framework.
    • Develop and enable process improvements champion standards and operational health checks.
Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.

  • Domain Expertise

    • Direct experience in leading multiple business transformation initiatives that were process-led and ERP platform enabled (Oracle or SAP)
    • Thorough understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) Frameworks (ex. APQC).
    • Understanding of complex automated systems.

  • Prior experience implementing process-led ERP transformation for large organizations is a must. Oracle Cloud ERP implementation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in business partnership and influencing capability at the Senior Level
  • Strong self-awareness, social confidence and tenacity; polished and persuasive communicator and presenter to Leadership/
  • Understand how to build engagement through diverse teams and working collaboratively.
  • Robust analytical and strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Creative decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Competitive drive; ardent desire to win.
  • Commitment to learn additional information about changing products, markets, procedures, management techniques, industry trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to core values.
Your Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • Advanced knowledge and implementation experience with Oracle/SAP ERP
  • 7-10+ years of progressive and relevant project and program leadership experience
  • Project management experience with waterfall and agile technologies
  • PMP/PgMP certification preferred
  • Successful design and delivery of at least 1"end to end" enterprise-wide Business Process Transformation project
