job summary:
Support Engineer needed for contract opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Bellevue, WA.

  • We are looking for a support engineer who is relentlessly customer-centric, problem-solver, strong collaborator, and risk-taker that embraces that challenger mindset. We're looking for someone who embodies customer obsession and empathy.
  • Someone who is adept at getting to the root of the issue, regardless of where the code base resides. This person will act as the final point of escalation and resolution for advanced technical support for Azure Bot Service and Bot Framework, highly escalated issues pertaining to confidential security, highly technical or network/system issues.
  • Provides advanced technical support to diverse audiences including highly technical developers and architects. Acts as technical expert with no supervision and may provide technical training, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers.
Responsibilities

  • May research technical documents, feature lists and collaborate with product development teams to deploy new technologies or automation.
  • Understanding of how HTTP requests are handled end-to-end including HTTP headers, cookies, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Visual Studio and Bot Framework.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex web application issues in an often ambiguous environment.
  • Understand programming concepts such as call stacks, threading, synchronization, performance-related concepts and debugging.
  • Knowledge of C#, Python, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Azure services and offerings is a plus or experience in AWS or Google Cloud
  • At least two years of experience in technical software support, systems development, IT admin, or any customer-facing work experience

  • Acts as the final point of escalation and resolution for technical support. Provides advanced technical support to developers, corporate customers and end users for complex products, including highly escalated issues.
  • Provides support via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic media. May act as technical lead and provide technical training, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers.
  • May provide limited consulting to internal or external customers. May research technical documents and feature lists.
Top 3 must-have hard skills

  • Understanding of how HTTP requests are handled end-to-end including HTTP headers, cookies, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Visual Studio and Bot Framework.
  • Knowledge of C#, Python, JavaScript
  • Strong verbal and communication skills a MUST
