IS Manager

job summary:
IS (Information Systems) Manager with extensive experience working with sales applications and business process. Ideally, the candidate has deployed sales tools and technology for a CPG and provided support for CRM solutions, such as salesforce.com, sales reports, syndicated data (IRI + Nielsen) and retail execution apps.

The IS Sales Manager will be accountable for:

- Leading projects and initiatives (requirements, scope, budget, timeline, quality)

- Following Internal Controls policies

- Managing vendors (SLA, contracts and deliverables)

- Delivering value for the enterprise through new and innovative solutions

- Supporting the ongoing operations on sales systems (resolving tickets and issues, defining best practices)

This position is based in White Plains, NY.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's Degree is required

- 7 years of experience in an IS position, including 4 years as a manager contractors and project resources

- Demonstrated project management experience

- Experience with software and system architecture (reporting, integration, Data)

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Computer Science or related major is a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Exceptional interpersonal skills; written and oral communication with both internal and external clients; public speaking; team collaboration and organizational skills.

- Strong analytic skills, problem resolution and business process.

- TPM experience it is a must to have.

- Experience in supporting sales applications (CRM, retail execution, e-commerce, and others) a consumer-packaged-goods CPG company will be considered as a plus.

- Ability to travel up to 25%.

- Experience working with syndicated data providers (IRI, Nielsen)

- Ability to lead, empower, and organize diverse stakeholders to achieve business results.

RESPONSIBILITY

- Serve as the technical and communications liaison to and from stakeholders and office key users.

- Support sales systems and ensure governance processes and internal controls are followed, including, but not limited to, compliance of business with existing IS guidelines, corporate IS standards, laws, and regulations.

- Lead technology projects within Sales to deliver more integrated, streamlined, automated and user-friendly systems, and create business value.

ACTIVITES

- Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization

- Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities

- Plan: Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results

- Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
