You'll also need to be equally comfortable talking to techies in our sprint teams as you are communicating with our analytically minded, stuffy bankers.

As a Product Manager, you will also act as the Product Owner (PO) and you are a key member of the Scrum Team. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog to deliver the most customer value after each sprint. You will have experience managing a web application product lifecycle from inception through implementation and can successfully deliver the value to the customer, by appropriately prioritizing product backlog, and accepting stories ready for release. The Product Manager must also possess a strong technical background to work closely with Head Product, Managing Director in understanding and prioritizing the needs of the end users.

You are comfortable navigating organizational boundaries to develop a vertically aligned product implementation by working closely with the Product Management & Support teams to ensure that product vision, roadmap, marketing and the backlog are all in alignment. In order to successfully understand the products, market and consumers a small portion of your time will be spent with the Product Management organization on internal customer-facing activities and the remainder of time will be co-located with the Scrum Team.

responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Product Development Stakeholders to establish product vision and define product enhancements
  • Build, prune, prioritize and maintain the product backlog
  • Collaborate with Engineering technical leadership to ensure key architectural roadmap items are woven into the product backlog
  • Define the objectives of the features within the Business Backlog
  • Participate in PO team iteration planning, and coordination of content dependencies
  • Become the primary source for user story details and priorities
  • Accept stories into the product baseline using well documented acceptance criteria
  • Moderate weekly meetings to enhance the discipline of Product Ownership
  • Actively participate in release planning
  • Consistently manage stakeholder expectations
 
qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Working knowledge of Agile SDLC
3 - 5 years of experience in digital product management in the Mortgage industry

on any of the below key areas:


  • Implementation of Income Verification Solutions (4506-T - IRS Tax Transcripts, Verification of Employment (VOE) - Equifax Work Number)
  • Worked on implementation of several solutions integrating with Mortgage Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass, Empower, Mortgage Cadence or similar
  • Mortgage POS systems such as Blend, CloudVirga, Capsilon, Arrive, Roostify, Finlocker or similar
  • Working knowledge of Data Integrators such as Yodlee, Finicity, Plaid or similar
Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or similar Master's degree
  • Working knowledge of system infrastructure specifically to API's and understanding data schemas.
  • Good understanding of Accounting and Taxation principles
