Business Systems Analyst

job summary:

The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. The main tasks are listening, questioning, understanding, configuring and documenting. You should act as the link between the specialist department in car development and the IT team. You understand the needs of the departments because you know the way of thinking and working of development engineers and SW developers and speak their language.

Candidate will be working with the Autonomous Driving department with specialized engineers in Machine Learning, Algorithm Development, and in-vehicle software development.

Job Responsibilities:

o Proactive customer management --> apply a "method" to listen to all customers regarding DAP/AMP

o Proactive Incident- and requirements-management

o Customer support of above listed tools

o Knowledge of the software development process and best practices

o Acting as "face to customer" as an innovation driver in collaboration with German team

o Collaboration with on-site IT-teams & DevOps CI/CD team

o Collaboration with SEED/MBSE-Support (GER/INDIA)

o Weekly update meetings with tool owners/tool architects in GER

o Willingness to travel to Germany (max 2x per year)

o Readiness to learn something new

Basic Qualifications:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

· Must Have: Business Analyst with IT-background (2+ years of experience), good & active knowledge in ALM/CI processes. Excellence skills in Task Management, Requirement Management & Test Management processes & tools.

skills: · Preferred: operative & user- knowledge in Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crucible), Cloudbees Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory

· Preferred: IBM-Jazz CLM Tools (Doors Next Generation, Rational Quality Manager, Rhapsody, Design Manager, Global Confiugrations etc.)
