Software Engineer - Systems

job summary:
Software Engineer - Systems needed for contract opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.

  • Our client is looking for an experienced developer to help our core engine team in building the SlipSpace engine.

Responsibilities

  • Implement features for SlipSpace engine
  • Collaborate with engineering and creative content teams on features
  • Participate in code reviews of other developers on the core engine team
  • Provide estimates and plans for leads and production to scope, plan, and track feature work
  • Author unit and regression tests to ensure stability
  • Debug and fix issues in multiple areas of the engine
Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience as a systems or engine developer for a current generation game
  • Experience developing on Xbox or PC
  • 3+ years of professional C++ experience
Pluses

  • Shipped one or more AAA games on Xbox One or PC
  • Experience with performance analysis and associated tools, such as PIX
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Deep understanding of multithreading
