IT Project Manager IV

job summary:
Description:

- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the Contact Center information technology department

- Oversees the Contact Center IT aspects of projects

- Works with the team to set deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of projects

- Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors and other departments involved in projects

- Prepares reports to upper management regarding status of projects

Role Specifics:

- Individual will be responsible for running/overseeing several projects within the Contact Center division

- Primary project will be related to the Channel Transformation. The company just introduced the first version of chat features for the .com website (instead of calling or emailing, customers now can chat live with a representative)

- Primary responsibility is to expand and create new channels through messaging

- Daily responsibilities consist of creating project plans, maintaining timelines, project financial/budget, and managing workloads

- Individual will also interact with several different department lines to gather information necessary for the project plans

- Individual will be required to travel between OPC and Willis tower several times a week

- Selected candidate could be at Willis Tower three times a week and OPC the remaining two days

- Ideal candidate will be a functional PM with prior Business Analyst experience. This role will not require coding or development. Technical PM's will not be fit

- Prior rental car or banking industry experience would translate well for this role. Experience with Contract Centers preferred

- Minimal analytic reporting may be required

Requirements:

- 4-8 years' experience as a functional Project Manager required

- Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in the field or in a related area required

- Microsoft Project and Microsoft Suite experience required

- TFS experience required

- Experience in an Agile environment required

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Experience with Contract Centers highly preferred

- Experience it Messenger, LivePerson, or Botify highly preferred

- PMP certification preferred
