job summary:
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases for client/server-, Web-, and/or PC-based software or middleware.
  • Integrates third party products.
  • Thoroughly understands software development methodology - Develops well-structured code, writes programs, and tests code appropriately
  • Elevates code into the development, test, and Production environments on schedule. Provides follow up Production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
  • Performs systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition (e.g., prototyping), and logical and physical design.
  • Interfaces with cross functional team members, including database administrator, IT security, project manager, business system analysts, and business clients.
  • Effectively communicates system issues
  • Complies with all IT policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Charles River Development is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of Investment Management business functions (Equity) is a plus
