SAP Business One Consultant

Our client is looking for a SAP Business One expert to help manage implementation projects for their clients. This is a great opportunity to join an established, industry leader in a growing segment of their business.

responsibilities:
- Participate in initial discovery and project scoping, documentation of business process requirements, integration or conversion requirements and provide direct feedback and input for project planning

- Provide subject matter expertise for 2 or more functional business areas

- Prepare detailed process requirements documentation resulting from discovery

- Identify business issues resulting from discovery sessions and document required action for issue resolution, including potential required changes to business policy or organizational structure

- Liaison with clients and delivery team resources for all process changes

- Participate on project teams comprised of business function and technical resources

- Creation of functional requirements for functional enhancements and conversions

- Creation of technical requirements for functional enhancements and conversions

- Assist with Data Conversions to SAP B1 systems

- Validation of technical specifications for enhancements and conversion

- Assist mapping of source system data to SAP B1 systems and business logic

- Conduct unit and regression testing and document all related issues for resolution

- Provide oversight of end user lead for Operational Readiness Exercises

- Provide project status on regular intervals to project manager

- Ensure IT general Controls for Change Management or other regulatory compliance

- Participate with internal teams to create, manage and review training materials for internal and external clients

- Participate with internal teams to continuously improve implementation methodologies and processes, including development and maintenance of training materials

- Cross train and mentor internal resources

 
qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience or change management initiatives

- 4+ years of business process or ERP systems experience

- 2+ years of SAP B1 and Boyum experience

- SAP B1 Certification (highly preferred)

- 2+ years of imaging channel experience (preferred)

- Strong leadership qualities

- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

- Strong Communication skills

- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

- Experience working in a team oriented, global environment

- Experience managing multiple, concurrent priorities and tasks

- Proficient with SQ, MS Office Suite, and Visio

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Accounting
