The Technical Client Director is a visionary client facing technical leader, responsible for enabling business strategies with innovative technology solutions and trusted advisor relationships. The right candidate will bring cloud expertise, business acumen and dynamic communication skills that will transform the client technology journey. We are seeking a technologist with an insatiable curiosity that drives them to the leading edge of emerging technologies, making them a known expert both inside and outside of the organization.

Digital Workplace / Cloud Infra Migration and Optimization

In this role, you will shape the Digital Workplace technical sales and execution strategy in California, focusing on cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Office cloud migration services. Lead architects that design, deploy and maintain enterprise-class networks, and systems across private, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. Plan and transition advanced customer environments to global managed services teams. Plan DevOps environment deployments and coordinate closely with application development teams.

Technical skills should include Active Directory, Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure App Service model, Azure Networks. Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, networking principles, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models. Microsoft Teams, Exchange, SharePoint deployments. Experience with automation/configuration management using Azure Templates, Json, Puppet, Chef, Ansible or similar. Experience with OMS, Systems Center, or similar monitoring tool.

Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, Hippa, HiTrust, PII a plus.

To be successful, one must exhibit strong delivery leadership qualities necessary for building trust with clients and technologists. Specifically, you will partner with consultants and client team members to drive client success by providing practical guidance based on your years of experience working with the Cloud platform. Being hands-on with technology and the desire to continue to stay relevant as cloud technologies evolves is critical. Further, you will collaborate with a diverse sales team to professionally represent needed experience and ability to drive business results.

§ Implement process and quality improvements through task automation. Institute infrastructure as code, security automation, and automation or routine maintenance tasks for clients.

§ Perform data migration from on-premises environments into Azure

§ Support the business development lifecycle (Business Development, Capture, Solution Architect, Pricing and Proposal Development)

Desired Skills:

§ Knowledge of DevOps methods and CI/CD automation practices

§ Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker
