Job Description

Our client is looking for an engineer to join their team working on the next big experience in their AAA franchise. Work on one of the most exciting and creative intellectual properties in the industry and help drive the future of this franchise. From helping players find their friends on their favorite social platform, to making colorful keyboard effects, this role is focused on integrating the players favorite platforms for PC.

As an Engineer on the PC team working closely with the Live and Services teams, you will work integration with 1st and 3rd party social platforms for streaming and chat. You will also work on integrating other gamer peripheral APIs for controllers, lighting, etc. You will need to work in an existing codebase to design and implement, highly-functional and performant features that leverage several external APIs for PC. The ideal candidate has experience working on PC game infrastructure, and will enjoy bringing hot new features and engagement to the gaming community.

  • Design and develop social and peripheral features in their proprietary engine.
  • Integrate several external APIs.
  • Help identify and create "killer features" that enhance the game on other platforms.
  • Work with producers to accurately schedule and coordinate work across the different teams.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional software engineering experience in C++
  • Experience working with large and complex codebases
  • Strong communication skills, with both technical and non-technical team members
Pluses

  • Previous PC game development experience
  • Shipped titles or experience supporting a released title
  • Experience developing social integration or peripheral support
  • Passion for creating amazing AAA game experiences
