Front office facing Individual Contributor for on-site Level 2 Production Support. The candidate will be responsible for supporting systems for which bankers are the direct users. Problems may be reported directly by users, monitoring, development/infrastructure teams, or the vendor. The platforms are primarily MS Windows, but the Linux footprint is rapidly increasing. The team is based in Charlotte, North Carolina with an off-shore counterpart based in India. Normal hours are 9am - 6pm ET with occasional night and on-call weekend work.

Requirements:

  • Very strong written and verbal communications skills. Absolutely must be able to communicate effectively with technology teams as well as the business.
  • Must demonstrate superior skills triaging problems, identifying root cause, and working with development teams and vendors to implement a permanent solution.
  • 5+ years Prior application production support experience in a 24x7 Follow-the-Sun support model in a fast paced environment
  • 5+ years ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • 3+ years batch scripting
  • 3+ years Autosys (or similar) experience
  • Proactively seeks and identifies opportunities for automation & monitoring
  • 3+ years using ITRS (or similar) real-time monitoring tools
  • Prior experience co-ordinating incident response across internal support, infrastructure, and business teams as well as external vendors
  • 5+ years supporting applications in Windows environments
  • 3+ years MSSQL or similar RDBMS
  • Prior Linux experience a strong plus
  • Familiarity using AppDynamics a strong plus
  • Prior Splunk experience a strong plus
  • Able to document and perform software releases
