This role is also responsible for configuring and maintaining the Quality Management Systems (Trackwise Digital / Master Control.) This is a highly visible, customer facing role and requires the ability to provide exceptional end-user support. This role interacts with broad range of business units including executives and constituents at all levels.

  • Responsible for maintaining current modules within the Global Quality Management System and identifying the need for new modules based on company needs.
  • Configure and maintain items in the Global Quality Management Systems (TrackWise Digital and MasterControl), such as Access/permission sets, Infocard types, Roles, Vaults, Lifecycles, Routes, and PDF publishing settings .
  • Responsible for providing technical support related to Global Quality Management Systems including, but not limited to, password resets, creation and maintenance of user accounts, and issue resolution.
  • Review and approve Computer System Validation documents such as; Functional Requirement Specifications, Test Summary Reports, Risk Assessments and Pre/Post-Executed Test Scripts.
  • Perform relevant User Acceptance Testing (UATs) for upgrades to the Global Quality Management System(s).
  • Resolve configuration issues within the Global Quality Management Systems.
  • Serve as Help Desk for user questions.
  • Work with vendors for systems support, when necessary, to ensure issue resolution.
  • Responsible for providing technical support related to software applications and hardware including software installation, service pack updates, migrations, troubleshooting, maintenance, scheduled tasks and SQL data backups
  • Responsible for providing end-user training and being a supporting role for all departments and areas
  • Responsible for Installing, Configuring, and Managing the software installation and upgrade process on all users' desktops and virtual environments
  • Participates in projects to implement, test, and design IT systems, modules and application.
  • Provides one-on-one and small group training and support to end-users
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, texts, IM's and e-mails regarding systems issues
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues and recommend and implement corrective solutions
  • Ability to create a RCA Root Cause Analysis case and provide corrective and preventive actions
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining user profiles and security roles and the ability to provide audit reports on demand to meet business and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for entering and managing service requests through the IT helpdesk system
  • Monitor systems and databases to ensure uptime and quality
  • Responsible for ensuring backups and disaster recovery procedures are functioning properly
  • Responsible for testing backup and recovery strategies to ensure business uptime and reliability
  • Responsible for knowing and understanding the SDLC as it relates to ITIL, change management, and other pharmaceutical industry standards
  • Maintains user / group profiles and security roles and rights
  • Work with pre-existing guidelines, standard operating procedures in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Responds to internal and external customers to resolve their technology problems

  • Bachelor's Degree or Computer Degree or related experience in supporting regulated systems.
  • Required 3 years of experience in a previous Systems Administrator role for electronic Quality Management Systems, preferably, MasterControl and/or TrackWise Digital.
  • Preferred 3 years of experience installing, configuring, and managing infrastructure, hardware and software systems
  • Experience with pharmaceutical software (ERP Systems, Quality Management Systems, IT Security & Risk assessments, intrusion prevention, SQL report writing)
  • Preferred experience working in a FDA regulated company following GxP principles such as, Manufacturing, Documentation, Laboratory, Quality Systems environment.
  • Must possess basic programming understanding.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information
  • Experience with Server Migration and Management (OS, Group Policy, Security, Administration); Active Directory Migration and Administration; ISCSI / Fiber Channel / SAN or Storage Networking; Microsoft Exchange 2013 implementation, migration and maintenance.
  • Possess advanced skills in reading workflow and network diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Working knowledge of system analysis, design, security methodologies, software installations, and trouble-shooting techniques
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills and focus required; must have a can-do attitude and proven follow-through skills
