The Enterprise Billing Domain Architect provides leadership of the opportunity team and works with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the client strategy, processes and information technology assets. The role of the Enterprise Billing Domain Architect is to take this knowledge and ensure that the client business requirements and the End to End Solution are in alignment. The Enterprise Architect links the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be delivered by the solution.
You will be responsible for working as a trusted technical advisor/ partner to:
-Review and analyze current Billing technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic corporate objectives.
-Identify and propose specific strategies, initiatives and remedies necessary to align billing technology infrastructure with corporate objectives
-Support development of business drivers, business case and high level program implementation plan.
-Translate client business issues/opportunities into technical solution/business requirements and then communicate the value proposition of the end to end solution. Billing Architect with strong background in Tier 1 telecom and hands on experience with enterprise and wholesale billers, rating systems, cycle processing, fraud detection, taxing and associated terminology
-Lead strategic architectural planning to achieve goals by prioritizing initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future state architectures
-Collaborate with the appropriate Verizon and client departments to develop an Architectural Vision and Innovation plan that supports the Client IT strategic goals
-Focus on architecture transformation and rationalization of existing/legacy billers across enterprise and wholesale channels for regulated and un-regulated products
-Provide cap/grow/eliminate/consolidate/modernize recommendations in alignment with company's short term and long term strategic goals
-Clearly articulate risks (people, process, technical) in support of architecture strategy and provide roadmap when applicable
-With the help of Verizon SMEs, extract KPIs and relevant data across these platforms to make sound decisions
-Provide regular status reports to onsite and offshore senior management.
You'll need to have:
-Proven background in Tier 1 telecom and hands-on experience with enterprise and wholesale billers, rating systems, cycle processing, fraud detection, taxing and associated terminology
-Proven ability to work across business and IT leadership and key SMEs to drive architecture conversation
-Deep knowledge with data analytics, data warehouses, micro-services/SOAs, and other emerging technologies
-Understanding of RPA technology to apply mechanization against legacy/main-frame billing platforms
-Proven ability to evaluate and rationalize COTS products
-Ability to travel 50% of the time
· Global / international experience in selling solutions / services to major multinationals
· Demonstrable experience in achieving results in a complex, internationally distributed organization
· Ability to develop a conceptual solution architecture using a combination of Verizon standard products and selected third party suppliers to produce an end to end Client solution.
