Delivery Lead - IT Software

- Seeking someone with the best traits of a project manager, scrum master, account manager, and Agile coach

- Our Delivery Lead have the responsibilities of managing business value, establishing and maintaining professional relationships with developers and stakeholders and leading multi-functional delivery teams

- A successful candidate will need to be a thought leader, capable of creating a thriving atmosphere for our development team by having an understanding and a passion for people

Responsibilities:

- Quickly building rapport with a stakeholder in an unfamiliar environment

- Managing expectations while delivering high quality software and within the constraints of the project

- Anticipating issues and guiding your team through complex situations

- Measuring, analyzing and communicating important project metrics to ensure common understanding or facilitate change

- Uncovering the "why" of any situation

- Building and leading a diverse group of people, including providing performance feedback, coaching and mentoring in a way that promotes growth

- The mental dexterity needed to handle a healthy level of ambiguity, adapting to changing priorities and continuously finding areas to deliver value

- The ability to bridge the gap between technical and business, and facilitating design discussions with people of all skills (business, technical, leadership)

- Define, develop and implement ongoing improvement of Agile practices within the organization

- Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and lead by example

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or equivalent work experience required

Certifications:

- CSM,CPO or CSD preferred

Required Skills:

- At least 5 years of experience using Agile practices to successfully deliver project initiatives.

- At least 2 years of experience in writing user stories, facilitating team cadence meetings, and responding to change.

- Solid understanding of Agile practices and techniques

- Good understanding of SDLC

- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

- Excellent communication and mentoring skills

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

- Strong self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with limited guidance when necessary
