Security Technician

job summary:
Security technicians will be required to perform Cyber Security incident response as it involves basic knowledge of network (Firewall, DHCP, Layer2 devices, IDS/IPS and proxy) and other security system.

The Security technician shall perform tasks in the following areas:

- 24/7 on-site support, cyber security incident response for assets of whole site within SAS network

- Continuous monitoring of information security systems

- Prepare and submit security status reports at the organization-defined frequency using systems provided by SAS.

- Conduct remediation activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures ("SOPs") as necessary to maintain the current authorization status

- Update/review critical procedure documents on a regular basis under the direction of SAS

- Process users' requests and provide support for RSA, Citrix, Escort, NASCA, Secuprint, Firewall, and IPScan in accordance with SAS-provided SOPs

- Monitor IT security dashboard to identify and fix PCs that are in violation for missing security software

- Provide Escalate to 2nd level support for helpdesk for security systems

- Support Samsung in housed applications IPMS and VPS

- Sign-off on customers 'Online Request' for tools
