IT Project Coordinator II

job summary:
Job Description

  • Coordinate and track progress and implementation of IT consulting projects.
  • Ensure deadlines are met, resolve scheduling issues, and track personnel.
  • Keep informed of project progress and prepare reports for customers, management, and vendors.
  • Performs general tasks and completes routine assignments.
  • Receives assistance in the completion of more complex assignments.
  • Developing proficiency within discipline.
  • Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • Typically requires one to three years of related experience.
Preferred qualifications:

  • advanced Excel skills, experience with project managing role competency projects, ability to adapt communication style for executive level audience.
  • Would be working in IT, but with a very small team that helps with the People Strategy associated with the IT department
  • Role would involve
  • Multi-faceted tracking in Excel ( strong excel and organization/focus skills needed )
  • Strong PM skills and knowledge of PM competencies
  • PPT skills
  • Preferred: familiarity with newer Office 365 tools (teams, etc)
  • Communication with many audiences/ability to soften messages and tailor to audiences, including high level execs
