.NET Team Lead

job summary:
1. Introduction

The Client, Information Services Program requires one (1) contractor for time and materials Staff Augmentation services providing technical leadership, analysis and programming support of .NET applications that support the business processes of one of their Programs.

2. Experience

Required consultant experience provided by Contractor(s), shall Include:

- Minimum 8 years' experience developing in:

o C#

o ASP.NET

o ADO.NET

o N-Tier Architecture Development

- Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Studio

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

Preferred Experience Working With:

- MVC.NET

- Bootstrap

- jQuery

- HTML/XHTML

- XML

- ADFS

- Web Services - REST, SOAP

- SOAPUI

- SQL Databases

- TFS (Team Foundation Server), Visual Studio Team Services

- Javascript

- Entity Framework - ORM

- Project Management

- Experience with the Client's web applications

- Knowledge and Experience in Change Management, Capacity Management, Release Management, Configuration Management and other ISO/ITIL related processes.

- All phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Analysis, Physical and Logical design, Resource Planning, Code development, Testing, Implementation and Maintenance.

- Working in a project-oriented environment

- Excellent troubleshooting skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-directed, with the ability to prioritize tasks

- Ability to work with customers and to translate requirements into technical design

- Research and investigate problems and develop viable solutions; report findings/recommendations clearly and effectively to team

3. Required Duties and Responsibilities of Contractor(s) Include:

- Creates and enhances business .Net web applications as necessary.

- Troubleshoots and resolves incidents and issues identified for the .Net web applications.

- Identifies, prioritizes, resolves, documents, and communicates technical and operational issues related to internal software applications.

- Demonstrates a willingness to engage with end users in a highly professional and helpful manner.

- Meet with business departments to provide solutions and assist in the architect development to meet their business and end-user needs.

- Collaborates with team members and customers effectively.

- Knowledge transfer to technical staff.

- Creates system documentation and other artifacts. - Provide status reporting of assignments.

- Perform code reviews.

- Conduct review and analysis of functional specifications and/or blueprint documents to provide technical approach and solution.

- Properly estimate work efforts and technical challenges (scoping projects).

- Map the Client business processes to appropriate technology solutions.

- Provide technical leadership to the development team/staff in research, impact analysis, and implementation of upgrades and/or major application enhancements.

- Assist in leading the development team/staff to ensure that a common toolset is used in all phases of the development process and that all Information Technology Service Management and Development standards are followed

- Perform system reviews by business process to implement technical performance improvements and to achieve business efficiencies

- Work with Business Process Owners (BPOs), functional, and technical staff to define and design system enhancements to implement desired requirements

- Managing code repository and branching using Azure DevOps.

- Set up build automation, continuous integration and release management using Azure DevOps.

- Performs other related duties, as required.
