Our client is seeking an IT Network Infrastructure Project Analyst for a 12+ month contract opportunity with in Sacramento, CA.
This person will have an IT support background as a Desktop / Telecom / Networking Technician and is familiar with wiring and wireless technologies. They will also have experience managing projects and looking to get into a project manager role.
As a IT Facilities Technical Project Management Professional in IT, this position is responsible for highly complex project planning and management, business and advanced systems analysis, project budgeting, implementation and on-going management of key IT initiatives. Initiatives include the assessment and management of high profile projects with considerable impact on IT and the Organization and an advanced understanding of the interdependencies within the highly complex facilities delivery initiatives. Advanced technical project management for IT Infrastructure, Network, Cabling, End Point Devices, and Auxiliary Services Systems, including Application deployment. The position primary function will be to work with Expert PM on IT initiatives associated with Facility projects such as new construction, technology upgrades, and network deployment. This position requires not only project management skills, but a unique depth and breadth of knowledge in specific Infrastructure technologies mentioned above.
This position will interact with all levels of IT management and staff and will work with a high degree of independence and decision-making. The position will lead the implementation of projects, working with cross functional teams, and subject matter experts throughout the delivery process. This includes all aspects of project delivery, from requirements gathering, analysis and design, configuration and test, through deployment and support of various systems. Highly effective leadership and communication skills to diverse audiences is essential.
