IT Radio Analyst - 20017

job summary:
Our client has a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity for an IT Radio Analyst in Auburn, CA. The anticipated start date of this contract is 11/4/19. This role will help our client with radio communications for their radio system and its users. Work will include some travel to mountain top radio sites. Tasks will include: - Installing radios into vehicles - Installing radio site equipment, including: racks, repeaters, RF systems, power systems, battery banks, etc. - Responding to and troubleshooting radio dispatch console issues (audio connections, headsets, speakers, wiring, network connections, etc.) - Maintain radio sites, including: radio network, network backhaul, RF antenna systems, repeaters, power systems - Troubleshooting poor radio performance to determine cause (sweeping antennas, checking receiver sensitivity, monitoring interference, etc.) - Programming subscriber radios - Interfacing with our customers to assist with radio communications needs - Radio Shop Cleanup and Organization - Prepare complex technical diagrams, and system documentation The Most Qualified Candidate will have professional-level working experience in some of the following areas: - Conventional two-way radio systems. - Motorola P-25 Trunking systems. - Motorola MCC-series dispatch consoles. - IP Networks. - Aviat Microwave Networks. - RF test equipment, including Anritsu and Aeroflex service monitors. - Programming and maintaining Motorola APX subscriber radios. - Motorola Radio Manager Software. - Motorola SCADA systems. - LaMarche Power Systems - Motorola Centracom Gold Elite Dispatch Consoles
