QA Analyst

job summary:
Our client is currently seeking a QA Analyst for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity located in Rancho Cordova, CA. Required Skills: · Demonstrated proficiency in Test Plan and Test Case writing and defect management and use of test management tools · Demonstrated proficiency with SQL for creating/modifying queries is a must. · Experience with using basic Unix for file manipulation · JavaScript · Experience with web services testing using tools such as SOAP UI/Postman, · Must have an understanding Web-based technologies. · Thorough understanding of all phases of SDLC required and various testing types such as Systems, Integration, UAT etc. · Oracle Financials or any other financial package experience. · Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Job Description: · Develop, maintain, and implement System/Integration testing strategy, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, and test cases based on MAXIMUS' CMMI standards · Maintain testing work products to comply with PPQA reviews and audits which is to ensure compliance with documented plans, procedures, and standards as required. Technical Skills / Knowledge Required: · 6+ years' experience in manual functional testing and automation or coding, with a minimum of 1+ yr experience in mid-large sized complex with minimal supervision. · Experience in Automation testing tools, preferably Selenium Web Driver with Java or Python · Must have an understanding of HTML, CSS, XPath, Dom, Page Object Models · Knowledge of working in AWS environment and DevOps Additional Skills / Knowledge Preferred: · Worked in Micro services architecture environment is a plus · Healthcare Industry experience is a plus. responsibilities:
Job Description: · Develop, maintain, and implement System/Integration testing strategy, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, and test cases based on MAXIMUS' CMMI standards · Performs Systems Testing and automation as needed · Identify and prepare test data for testing using SQL queries · Communicate with Business/Systems Analysts and Developers to understand/clarify requirements · Identify, report, and manage defects in defect tracking system · Provide status reports per Project requirements and provide input to the Project Plans and Processes · Provide regular updates to the Test/Project Manager · Provide technical information for Change Requests meetings · Participate in systems requirement reviews and team meetings when necessary · Maintain Project's test documentation · Participate in Systems Integration Testing with vendors or clients under test lead's guidance · Participate in collection and review of quantitative data related to software testing and development activities for measurement and analysis as required. · Maintain testing work products to comply with PPQA reviews and audits which is to ensure compliance with documented plans, procedures, and standards as required.
