Business Analyst

job summary:
Randstad Technologies, a global and national leader in the IT staffing and services industry is seeking a Business Analyst to work in Gaithersburg Maryland.

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of departmental technology projects, individual work streams, or releases within a major systems implementation program so that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Shares responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects for a given business unit. Verifies that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Monitors project activities.

Education and Experience Required:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience or certification.

- 5+ years' experience in information technology project management discipline across diverse application areas and technologies.

- Experience in implementing enterprise application packages in distributed environments.

- Demonstrated ability to multitask.

- Extremely detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred:

- Project Management Certification.

- Experience with business process re-engineering.

- Experience implementing Oracle HCM.

- Experience with integration test management processes for large implementations.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.

- Experience with payroll, time/attendance/scheduling, compensation, or benefit applications

- Plans projects, including cost, schedule, and deliverables to meet business need.

- Serves as liaison between technology resources and business unit.

- Acts as interface with stakeholders for requirements, prioritization, and rationalization.

- Interfaces and partners with vendor(s).

- Monitors, determines schedules for systems projects including testing, documentation and training.

- Manages project risks and escalates as appropriate.

- Establishes, tracks, and reports on performance criteria.
