Security Operations Analyst

job summary:
Job Description:

  • Security Operations Analyst focus on the security aspects in the design of systems that need to be able to deal robustly with possible sources of disruption, ranging from natural disasters to malicious acts.
Role:

  • Role Based Security Provisioning and ongoing security administration services support.
  • Daily job functions related to Identity Access and Audit Management.
  • Resources will be completing a high volume of security requests to the business, this includes assigning security tokens, granting security access in Identity Minder, AD, Mainframe and various systems for new and existing Client resources, while adhering to the service level agreement.
  • This is a desk job, requires a lot of phone & incident support.
  • The appropriate level of candidate, and a big picture view is important.
  • There is room for growth over time if candidates bring past experience and knowledge from prior security roles.
  • Candidates will need to prove themselves with all the basic skills first.
Required Skills:

  • 2nd level support experience
  • Active Directory
  • Strong security administration support experience (Role Based Access Control or User Provisioning)
  • Strong customer support experience
  • Strong team player
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are very important!
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with an ITSM tool such as CA or ServiceNow
  • A professional appearance is important
  • Must be a go getter and proactive
