Knowledge Management Analyst

Randstad is looking for a Knowledge Management Analyst to join their team in Richmond, VA

M-F 8am-5pm, full time long term contract

Responsible for creating, writing, and validating various types of Support documentation in the Knowledge Management system, including but not limited to how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, instructions, processes, and procedures.

responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

  • Establish and update Knowledge articles using KCS methodology
  • Compose instructions in clear/easy to understand language
  • Regularly review, validate, and update flagged or expiring articles as needed
  • Write technical directions for Help Desk, Incident and Event Management, and the End User community
  • Meet with application owners, end user groups, and Help Desk/Command Center management and staff to gather requirements for new or updated Knowledge articles
  • Create user documentation for a variety of material, including how-to guides and instruction manuals.
  • Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by support staff and end users
  • Response in determined Article count in the KB
  • Responsible for ensuring the top twenty (20) Incidents/Service Requests are addressed in these KB articles
  • Determine percentage of these articles are used consistently and how frequently the articles are used
  • Make sure articles are complete to Randstad's standards
  • Determine gaps that are remaining to be addressed in each article
  • Produce reports, analysis and help with presentations on a regular basis
  • Write clear and concise procedures.
  • Submit new/revised articles to managers for feedback.
  • Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling.
  • Follow a Knowledge Management life cycle
  • Publish articles following final approval
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally, as required.
  • Responsibilities will include Deskside type function for- Richmond based employees
  • Other duties as assigned
